A Little About Me

I am Dr. Kevin Chen, and I am a Prosthodontist spoecializing in comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitations and the restoration of missing teeth, having completed an additional official ADA recognized three-year residency. My academic foundation began at UNC Chapel Hill, where I earned a BA in Chemistry and Asian Studies, followed by my Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University.

Prior to residency, I served as a full-time clinical faculty at my alma mater while also practicing in both community health and private practice settings. I then completed my specialty training in Prosthodontics through the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where I had the privilege of caring for our nation's veterans.

My passion for prosthodontics is rooted in precision and artistry. By combining my background in visual arts, photography, and design with advanced dental technology, I strive to elevate the standard of patient care and showcase the meticulous craftsmanship behind every restoration. I believe in practicing with a strong, evidence-based foundation while continuously pushing the boundaries of modern dentistry through innovation and creativity which hopefully shows through my portfolio here.

Outside of dentistry, you can usually find me outdoors hiking, bouldering, or playing tennis. I am also an avid traveler and foodie who loves exploring new cultures and cuisines.
